Impact Wind Summer Seminar 2026:

A multi-disciplinary 3-day seminar for offshore wind developers, suppliers, public authorities and students

'All you need to know about offshore wind in only 3 days'

The ImpactWind Summer Seminar [previously Impact Wind Summer School] will be held for the third time this year. This multi-disciplinary summer seminar will provide an overview of the most important aspects related to offshore wind: Licensing, environmental assessments, technologies, business development etc. The speakers come from both academia and industry.

Location: University of Agder, Campus Grimstad, Jon Lilletuns vei 9, NO-4879 Grimstad

Dates: The summer school starts at 09 a.m. Tuesday 9th of June and ends at 3 p.m. Thursday 11th of June.

Participant fee: NOK 6 000 for ImpactWind partners incl. industry clusters
NOK 3 000 for students and fellows;
NOK 8 000 for other participants. NOK 4 000 for single days

Application deadline: 15th of May 2026

The summer school will take place at the UiA campus in Grimstad. Walking distances from the hotels are 20-25 minutes. We recommend booking your accommodation as soon as possible. We recommend the following hotels:
